Tracey was none too impressed with me going to Hawaii without her. I guess the weather is poetic justice!

That said, it results in an empty beach.

Waikiki, though beautiful, is tourist hell. Not really my cup of tea but you do have to see it. Had breakfast at a Jimmy Buffet-inspired place. Enough said.

Plan to drive around the island today. Looking forward to seeing a more traditional setting. We’ll see.
